GWHCC Academy: How To Prepare A Winning Federal Proposal

The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host its GWHCC Academy: How To Prepare A Winning Federal Proposal at Intelligent Office presented by Jonathan McClure. This half day workshop seeks to assist individuals in learning how to respond to a federal request for proposal (RFP). The course addresses all aspects of the proposal development lifecycle to include: pre-proposal actions, proposal schedule development, RFP shredding, developing a compliant proposal outline, proper response and management activities, proposal reviews, and proposal production/delivery. Best practices and techniques for proposal development will be presented. The course focuses on the proposal process. GWHCC Academy: Federal Contracting - Capture and Execution

The Greater Washington Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will host its GWHCC Academy: Federal Contracting - Capture and Execution at Intelligent Office presented by Alan Rosenberg. This half day workshop covers the most important elements of capturing and performing Federal government contracts and subcontracts. Subjects include an overview of Federal acquisition processes and the procurement cycle, preparing effective proposals, the fundamentals of properly executing Federal contracts and subcontracts (including reviews of the major contract types and their execution and profit characteristics), and discussions of some special contract vehicles (GSA Schedules, GWACS) and the SBA's small business preference programs. This workshop can be the foundation for helping a business enter and succeed in the government contracting arena.
