About 74.8 percent of the 198 degrees and certificates handed out by the Strayer University-District of Columbia in 2016-17 were to students in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Washington conferred 72 master's degrees and 49 bachelor's degrees in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Business/Commerce, General. Data shows the school gave out 40 bachelor's degrees in Business/Commerce, General, followed by 39 master's degrees in Business Administration and Management, General and 26 associate's degrees in Business/Commerce, General.
The university enrolled 1,127 students for 2016-17, including 803 in undergraduate programs and 324 in graduate programs.
