BayFirst Solutions issued the following announcement on Nov. 28.

BayFirst Solutions LLC has been awarded a contract to provide data management; threat and vulnerability elicitation support; threat, consequence and vulnerability modeling and analysis; and operations and maintenance support to provide the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) information and analytical capability and products concerning global transportation security risk management and counterterrorism.

Kevin Gooch, BayFirst’s Chief Executive Officer, stated: “BayFirst is excited and ready to support TSA in developing and managing key risk tools, systems, and products to help ensure the safety and resilience of conveyances, facilities, employees, passengers, cargo and surrounding areas. These tools are core to the mission of TSA, and we will work hand-in-hand with TSA to continuously update and enhance these foundational tools, as well as other analysis processes and analytic resources, to ensure a thorough and current understanding of terrorism risk to transportation systems and infrastructure.”

Under this task order, BayFirst will support the TSA Office of Intelligence & Analysis (OIA) Risk Analysis Division (RAD) with technical management and security program support for the Risk IT System (RITS), which integrates risk data and analytic capabilities in support of TSA’s risk-based operation and policy development.
