Atlas Research issued the following announcement on Feb. 11.

Atlas Research recently reached a major milestone with the National Science Foundation (NSF). The project team delivered its 100th Advanced Monitoring Desk Review of NSF research funds. These reviews help the academic research community better administer its NSF-provided funds and are a critical element of NSF’s stewardship of its $27B research award portfolio.

NSF provides more than 11,000 new research awards each year to 1,800 academic and private research organizations of all sizes, working across the frontiers of scientific knowledge. Atlas experts conduct reviews of awardee practices in areas such as general management, operational controls, and regulatory compliance to verify that award recipients have policies, procedures, and practices to comply with federal award management regulations and NSF expectations.
