Atlas Research issued the following announcement on Feb. 13.

Christopher Cronin joins Atlas Research as the new Vice President of Business Development. As a strategic member of the executive management team, Mr. Cronin is responsible for leading efforts to identify, pursue and close new business opportunities.

Mr. Cronin comes to Atlas Research with 20 years of government contracting experience. Most recently, he served as the President of Carney, Inc., a small government contracting business, and President and CEO of two SBA certified 8(a) Alaskan Native Corporations – Nangwik Services, LLC and Concentric Methods, LLC. In these positions, he led operations and business development teams that improved customer satisfaction, while increasing company revenue and profit. These customers included the U.S. Army Medical Department (AMEDD) Army Direct Care Medical Services (ADCMS), Training Support Services and Fort Belvoir Community Hospital; Army Walter Reed Histocompatibility Lab Managers and Biomedical Technicians; Army, Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics (G-4); National Institutes of Health (NIH) OMS Clinic and Supply Center; National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID); Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Human Capital and Zika Training; and VA Learning University (VALU).

Mr. Cronin also served more than four years on active duty as an enlisted infantry Marine, where he was meritoriously promoted twice and consistently served in positions normally reserved by those of higher rank.
