Graduates earn 1,538 degrees, certificates from Catholic University of America


About 12.8 percent of the 1,538 degrees and certificates handed out by Catholic University of America in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Washington conferred 124 bachelor's degrees and 73 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in social work. Data shows the school gave out 166 master's degrees in social work, followed by 97 doctor's degrees in law and 70 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse.

The university enrolled 6,023 students for 2017-18, including 3,315 in undergraduate programs and 2,708 in graduate programs.
