Baker Botts is proud to announce that Supreme Court & Constitutional Law practice Chair, Scott Keller and leading Antitrust partner, Michael Perry have been selected to Law360’s Rising Stars for 2019.
Scott was chosen as a Rising Star for his work in “Appellate.” He has briefed and argued numerous appeals nationwide. Scott has argued 11 cases in the U.S. Supreme Court and has been counsel of record on over 90 U.S. Supreme Court briefs, including regulatory, free speech, immigration, election, criminal, environmental, antitrust, intellectual property, and interstate water disputes. Prior to Baker Botts, Scott served as the former Solicitor General of Texas.

Michael was chosen as a Rising Star for his work in “Competition.” He focuses on advising clients in merger and non-merger antitrust investigations before the Federal Trade Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice, and in complex private and government antitrust litigation. Michael has particular expertise in healthcare, life sciences, and technology sectors, including issues involving the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property law. Prior to Baker Botts, he served as Counsel to the Director of the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Competition.
